Hello to all of you,
The summer finally arrived, with a lot of sunny and shiny news coming directly from us, at Dilek und Darek.
First of all, the huge and top quality EP, from Mike Wall, with Indian influences and a vocal that drives you far way, the DLK004 called "She Comes" with remixes of Alexi Delano, Miro Pajic and the new duo Franco Bianco and Nacho Benedetti.
Our third release on Darek, Escafandra EP is also in program! It's the DRK003 by Mimanson, a newcommer from Madrid and full of talent. It also includes a groovy remix by "Benedetti & Bianco".
We want to remember you that the Dilek 003 is still fucking hot and played by Troy Pierce, Daniela Stickroth, Alexi Delano and Butane among others. As well as the Darek 002, the totally international "Aleph Compilation Part One" with great artists coming from all over the world, such as Sarah Goldfarb, Someone Else, SCSI-9, Amesh and many others.

This time, we're introducing Mimanson, a young, talented and high promising musician from Madrid, co-founder of the “List3n Us Level” collective. In 2007, he won the “Cultura Techno Zona Sur 2007” in Madrid, and now, he surprises us with his first personal and solid work called Escafandra.
The original is a punchy Techno track that creates a great atmosphere and ambiance, especially made for the main hours on the dancefloor. You will experience a very effective track, perfect material for a screaming crowd asking for more dirty beats.
The remix is served by our favorite duo, Benedetti & Bianco coming straight from Uruguay and Argentina. They deliver us once more a great collaboration, and another vision of this track, groovy, joyous and directly made for crazy and nasty parties.
This EP finishes with a track called Works, to balance everything with deep Techno and a minimal touch. Pulsating rhythms right in your face to give a strong ending to this stunning work.
Darek´s third release is coming from three different horizons and three mixed cultures, ready to surprise you and create diversity. By experiencing great sounds and talented artists, we hope that you enjoyed this groovy trip with our powerful and skilled production.

The last three years have been very strong from Franco, giving him a new start in his career, with successful releases which were remixed by artists such as Sarah Goldfarb, Federico Molinari, Seuil and Someone Else. In 2007 he had a huge tour which began in Australia, passed by Egypt, and went through 13 countries.
With a total of 32 presentations “Live!” over 4 months, he shared line ups with Steve Bug, Tiefschwarz, Matthew Johnson, Dominik Eulberg, Marco Carola, and many many more.
A new tour was scheduled for 2008 in Europe and Central America, to support the Mola vinyl and Origenes EP. This last and bigger tour was a huge experience that lasted longer then the 2007 tour. He also played in new places where he never was before, such as Lithuania, Poland, Colombia, Dominican Republic and last but not least, the Argentinean edition of the "Creamfields Buenos Aires", one of the biggest festivals around the globe.
His latest 12", Mola (with remixes of Tony Rohr & Bloody Mary), was a total success and is still played by Laurent Garnier, Anderson Noise, Ivan Smagghe, Frankie, Andre Crom, Nathan Coles, Tim Xavier, Brothers Vibe, Loco Dice and many many others.
Actually he finds himself having many confirmed gigs (like the ones in Denmark, Spain, Cyprus, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden and Germany), and he works a lot in his vinyl label Dilek Records, where we can find artists like Alexi Delano, Marek Hemmann, and Mathias Schaffauser amongst other big artists of his digital sub label Darek Recordings like Butane or Lineas de Nazca.
Franco is definitely an artist to keep an eye on for sure.

Benedetta"s
passion for art took her at the age of 17 from her hometown Milano to
Rome, to step into the professional movie and theatre world, profession
by which she lived in London, Paris and New York. In those cities, she
had the possibility of listening to the best artists and producers, and
so electronic music started to take the place of theater.
Decided to visit the country where her mother was born, she crossed the
Atlantic Ocean in search of new adventures. In Argentina, she got in
touch with turntables and mixers for the first time. Immediately, she
changed the stage for the dj booth to create her sets that display the
different styles of house, choosing from the different house rhythms
and sounds according to the venue.
Little time after Benedetta started playing at bars and private
parties, she began to perform at the most important clubs in Buenos
Aires, such as Pacha, Niceto, Bahrein and Mint, and at the different
dancefloors around the country. She was then included in Creamfields
Buenos Aires 2007 line-up. She played all around south America, places
like Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Colombia, Ecuador, Perú, Chile. With
her new profession, she returned to the cities that inspired her, like
London and New York. In the Big Apple, she met the musician and
producer Leo Grunbaum (aka Grunbox), who let her remix his track
"Antartida," her first official launch released on Unlock
Recordings.
Nowadays, she
pursues producing, chello and piano studies at the Conservatorio of
Buenos Aires.

Since his beginnings as a professional dj, Martin Garcia's artistic evolution was mainly lead by the British dance music industry, which he slowly incorporated and adapted to the local scene.
After playing in different clubs in Buenos Aires, his sessions at the internationally acclaimed Clubland nights at Pacha made him acquire a weight of his own. From that moment on, he’s played many times alongside Sasha, Nick Warren, Jimmy Van M. and Danny Howells, among other artists. He has a smooth mixing technique, and the details of his sound selections have gained him a huge recognition from the great number of progressive house fans along Argentina and Latin America. A success he's also achieved as a producer, either individually or together as a powerful duo with Hernan Cattaneo, releasing on labels such as Perfecto, Shinichi and Bedrock.
In 2005 Martin was the first guest dj at London's Kiss FM and he entered number 50 at DJ Mag's ranking. November and December saw him touring with John Digweed around South America, where he’s played many times before in Peru, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay and Colombia.
Present each year at Creamfields Buenos Aires line up, he's usually a headliner in events such as Moonpark parties and 1Live! In 2006 he’d already played at East Fest Punta del Este, Uruguay’s glamour summer spot, and Southfest's third edition (he played at the first one too) and he also made his debut at Miami's Winter Music Conference with a memorable back to back with Hernan Cattaneo and a special set for Frisky Radio. When not working on his music (or involved in other artists productions as in Renaissance’s Hernan Cattaneo Sequential), Martin plays his distinctive progressive, electro, breaks and house blends in clubs across the country and through his weekly Jorney show on Metrodance 95.1 FM.

Take a professional sportsman from Yugoslavia, a music addict X-Punk/Hippy from London, mix well = Karmina. From her Mum, she inherited an entire musical universe, music was indispensible for her daily life, she loves to say that there’s no life without music. It was just natural for her to start playing on the decks at home, and in public very early.
At the tender age of fifteen, she had her 1st residence at the Wax, Bastille in Paris where she had a monthly slot that she didn't let go of for three years. This start was followed by many other residencies, and great experiences at the Bains Douches, Folies Pigalle, Gibus, Redlight, and some Circoloco events, all in Paris, where she also won a FG Radio Dj Competition.
In 2003, she really wanted to start working on the production side, and at this time, her release got signed with her old alias and was produced at Sony BMG. It was a success, going straight into the club hits. The corresponding video got a lot of airplay on M6 music, MCM, MTV, all this along with a promotional tour through France. She can say that her first single did well, but at the time, she didn't reflect at all the style of the music that she used to play. In 2007, she released on Opossum Mini, with a remix of Mathew Jonson and also on Fullscale Music.
At this time, she shared decks back to back with Mathew Jonson, and at the Ibiza Voice Event in Shanghai with Dan Ghenacia as well as in Milan at the "Elita festival", with Luciano, Dinky, 2 Many Djs, Nathan Fake, James Holden and Moodyman amongst others… Nowadays, in 2009, she’s 23 years old, and is working under her new alias; Karmina. It’s like turning a page, making a new beginning.
She found her style and is working hard to start something new. Many years have passed, and now she knows exactly what she wants. Her new and great EP “Farfella” (planned for the end of this summer) will be released on Darek Recordings, with some great remixes of Alejandro Lopez and Franco Bianco. She still carries on, and after her “baby-pause”, she’s back mixing all over the world, sharing the vibe, and the tickety - tickety tack...
